Does anyone still drop by here and wonder where everyone is? Would love participating in the Stitch-a-thon again, if anyone else is interested?

Stitch-a-Thanksgiving!

Well, Here in the US of A we’re celebrating Thanksgiving, so everyone should have lots of time to stitch, right?  At least during the parade…  (That’s also the reason for my early post.)  I’m back to my dragon and enjoying it immensely, so I hope to get good progress done.  Here it is now:

I didn’t even get my small projects done, much less touch the dragon, and now my computer won’t let me upload images, so I cant even show you pictures.

Another poor weekend’s progress :(

I didn’t get anywhere near as much done as I’d hoped this weekend.  I had a ton of laundry to catch up on, I was out Friday night unexpectedly (but it was a very pleasant evening) and I just didn’t seem to have the time to get really stuck in.  Anyway, here’s where I started:

As you can see, not a terrible lot of progress. Still, I should think of it as less to stitch next month.

I know, I have been the worst person ever, but life is the one to blame generally… just haven’t had time to stitch, or to anything much in last months.

SO, I finally added another admin here, Linda who suggested it to me kind of some time ago and I finally remembered to promote her, so I guess some work will finally be done now after a long hiatus.

And I hope some of these days I can participate SATs again.

Regardless, say “Hello” to Linda!

Nearly forgot!

And now I realise that I forgot to post my progress at the end of last month as well!  I really am an air-head sometimes.

Anyway, I’ll be working, as usual, on my Happy Cat Trio.  I didn’t even get around to taking a photo of my paltry progress last month so I’ve taken one today and will take another one after the weekend and hopefully remember to post them both early next week.  Going to put a note on my forehead to remind me!

Right, off to unpack all my groceries that have just been delivered and then some (I think) well-earned stitching time.  Good luck with your progress this month all!

I just want to stitch!

Well, I guess this is the third weekend again, even though it is an early one this month.  If I can finish a couple of small projects that I have going, I’ll try to get the dragon back out.  He really needs some attention as he’s languishing back at July’s goals…

I got a good bit done on my stocking and I did stitch on my dragon, promise   (2 strands worth…)

Well, I didn’t finish the stitching this weekend, but I did make a lot of progress. I finished the fence and all the leaves on the ground on the left side. I finished most of the garage, but forgot to bring the right DMC threads for the broom straw. There is still a lot of backstitching to go and buttons to attach.

I’ll be working on Three Gable this weekend. In fact I will be working on Three Gables until it is done. I don’t have the button pack with me, but I might be able to get all the cross stitch done and most of the backstitching.

Came around quick this month…

It really doesn’t seem like a month ago we were doing this!  I’m going to be working on the Happy Cat Trio again this month.  I won’t bother posting a before photo as I haven’t touched it since last month.  I’m hoping to get a decent chunk done but it all depends, Ryan isn’t feeling too well and I’ve got a sore eye that keeps watering for some reason.

September’s SAT goals

Howdy y’all!  I haven’t touched my big dragon since last month, so I’d really like to get some time in on that, but I’m going to have a very hard time putting my stocking done as it’s very near to completion.  What’s eveyone else working on?

Sorry it’s taken me a while to get around to posting my progress.  I just don’t know where the time goes sometimes.  Hard to believe it’s Wednesday (two minutes to Thursday as I write this!) already!

Anyway, I made some good progress over the weekend.  I got done a whole lot more than I was expecting to, considering I kept getting interrupted.  So this is where I’m at now:

I’m pleased with it so far, it’s definitely nice and bright!  But I’m putting it away until next SAT weekend now as I have some obs stitching to do in the meantime.

Thanks Crystal for reminding me to come along and join in.  I’ve marked all SAT weekends on my calendar until the end of the year, at least, so I’ll be here next month to see who else joins in!

I really appreciate ya’ll showing up!   Mr. Mojo kept getting up and leaving this weekend even though I had a brand new project (in silks) to work on. However, knowing y’all were here kept me coming back to it instead of laying in bed and sulking like I felt like.   My big dragon didn’t get touched and my stocking didn’t get enough to speak of, but my new dragon made some pretty good progress.  The use of variegated silks makes this a very fast and fun stitch:

I knew it was a bit much to ask to finish this in only a couple of days, but I did make quite a bit of progress. I went from 25 unfinished squares to 12. I also stitched another quarter of the border on the left side and the bottom. I still have all the right side and some on the top to do.

Hi all,

I’m definitely joining in this month.  I need to do some stitching to try and get my mojo back on track.  I’m so behind with everything but having gone through all the projects I should be working on, I’ve chosen one which I’m doing for Ryan.  It’s Durene Jones’ Happy Cat Trio from issue 93 (Jan. 2005) of The World of Cross Stitching.  Here’s my progress so far, bearing in mind I started this months ago:

No goals as such, just want to get as much stitched as possible during the weekend.  Hope we’re not the only two Crystal! lol  Good luck with your goals, they’re looking good!

I’m Back :)

I sent out a few reminder invitations, so I hope I won’t be the only one.  (Stargazer said she’d be here)  Anyway, I hope to get a little done on my dragon, but we may be traveling all weekend, so I’ll probably spend most of my time on my stocking.  Unless of course, my new project gets in, and then, well, PLANS change :lol  Here are my before pics:
