Just a short one before I have to fly… Do you like the participant list as it is or do you think it would be better if it was renamed as Participants’ Blogs and instead of showing the blog name it would give your WP name as a hyperlink? (I hope I am clear enough, it’s only 8 am
)

Better Late…
Posted by blondelibrarian on August 23, 2007
I keep meaning to post my SAT progress, but I have been so busy!
Anyway, my goal was to start and finish a small design of my choosing. I chose “Kitty Litter” by Brittercup Designs and except for adding the charms, I met my goal.
More babbling about the piece can be found on my blog.

Okay – Officially the last one to update?
Posted by stitchyfingers on August 22, 2007
Well, I didn’t stitch quite as much as I had planned, but I am happy with the progress nonetheless. Next time I will schedule my weekend better so I don’t have as much to do that will intrude into my stitching time. I can’t say if I will make this piece my “Stitch-A-Thon” piece because I’ve become excited about it again.
In any event, below is my progress, sorry it took me so long to post:

Leslie’s Stitch-a-thon Progress
Posted by ralphy36 on August 21, 2007
Hey all, my name is Leslie. I am 29 (as of today) and have been stitching for about ten years. I am glad to see that Outi has been kind enough to set this blog up for everyone. This past weekend, I have been working on Autumn Dragon for my Stitch-a-thon piece. I forgot to take a before, picture, but I was only about a quarter done. Now I am just about done with the cross stitching.

A little progress
Posted by Stargazer on August 19, 2007
Not as much as I’d hoped but I had my niece here and that always means more work! Anyway, I’ve been stitching the wicker chair in the background:

And this is how the whole piece looks so far. Still got a long way to go, but I’m going to keep working on this throughout the month as it’s really quite a nice design to stitch.

Who knows if I’ll have finished it before next SAT weekend? If I have it’ll be a good excuse to either start something new (preferable) or mooch through my WIPs bucket and see what I fancy doing out of there!
See you all again soon!

And the needle smoked…
Posted by Lady Periphaeria on August 19, 2007
My goal was to finish Ellen Maurer-Stroh’s Bunny Baby for Stitchers for Children charity round robin as the deadline is closing soon.
I started from this:
…and, despite of being extremely tired whole weekend (I have difficulties to get used to my new allergy medication…), I ended up having a happy dance and reaching my goal
:
It’s great to see so many of you participating so actively and I hope to see many of you (and your stitching) again in September 21st-23rd!

And I’m done…
Posted by chiasmata on August 19, 2007
Well it’s 10pm on Sunday night, my fingers ache and I’m almost crosseyed. But I’ve managed to complete my goal!

Two panels stitched and backstitched, only the top one to go. I also added a bit of Kreinik blending filament to the bee’s wings, but the scanner doesn’t like to show sparkles.
I’m sorry my Lady! I didn’t know Picasa was tempermental. I’ve switched to my flickr account, and I’ve uploaded my previous pics there if you’d like to see ‘em.It was really fun to participate in the stitchathon this weekend, I can’t wait for the next one.

Sorry I’m late!
Posted by Stargazer on August 19, 2007
Begging your pardon My Lady! Please forgive me.
Hi all, I’m Linda, 41, from Oxfordshire, UK. Been stitching for almost 20 years and love all sorts of different things. Have a passion for stitching over 1 and making miniature items!
I’m going to be stitching on this for the rest of the weekend! This picture is the photo from the kit packaging and one day my piece is going to look like this. It’s taken me almost 5 years to get it to its current state. I’ll post another photo after Sunday’s stitching session. It may not be as much progress as I’d hoped for but I’ve had a rather disruptive weekend so far! ![]()

Here is where I start this weekend’s SAT – I haven’t stitched on this piece in several weeks:

This is the bottom part of it, for those who may not have seen it:

Goal for this weekend (besides stitching as much as I can) is to completely finish from the right corner to the center of the design and to work up from the blue butterfly until it lines up with the top picket fence. Friday night’s we go out, so no stitching was done last night.
Can’t wait!!! Getting busy NOW!!!

Mel’s Progress
Posted by vkchev on August 18, 2007
I got a bit done last night. I only had done about 20 stitches before I started this stitch-a-thon and I am please with my progress so far. I divided the chart into 3 sections. I find it easier that was when I am attempting a goal. I am almost completed the first section. So today I am aiming to finish that first section plus the second and if I am really on a roll hopefully get some of the third done.
I am aiming to have this done by the end of the weekend so I can’t post it off. Its going to be a Maltese Terrier. I am stitching it on a hand dyed fabric from Colours Down Under called Antique Rose.

Progress Pic!
Posted by chiasmata on August 17, 2007
All my current WIPs are small or pretty close to completion, so where’s the fun in stitchathoning that? So I started a new one! Margaret Sherry’s Bee My Friend, an adorable little chart that I bought years ago when I first started stitching, and it’s been down the bottom of my craft box ever since.
Here’s my progress from Friday night:

Will I make it to a finish this weekend? I could be done… but I think I’ll aim for 3/4 done and see how I go from there. Whatever I don’t finish this weekend can be for the next
stitchaton, so it’s all good!
