I’m a bit late with posting a pic, had a few problems at home this week. I finally decided to work on an afghan I’ve had lying around in my stash for a while. I’m using freebies from the Mosey ‘n’ Me website, plus one from an old copy of Stitchery magazine. I also have a lot of odd skeins of hand-dyed thread that I want to use up. This square is called Travelling Companions. I had already done a couple of rows of blue a while back but hadn’t got much further. Didn’t get a great deal done, hopefully I’ll get more time next month.

Finished!!!!
Posted by vkchev on November 19, 2007
I managed to finish Thanksgiving Harvest Fairy. I haven’t done the wings, I just didn’t like them. So she’s not really a fairy.
I have just entered her into the silkweavers showcase. She was stitched on opal Amentrine.
If the pic doesn’t show up you can see her on my blog www.vkchev.blogspot.com

Work
Posted by blondelibrarian on November 19, 2007
That’s what I had to do this weekend. I didn’t even have a chance to pick up a needle.
Oh well, there’s always next month, right?

Northern Dignity
Posted by chiasmata on November 18, 2007
Here’s my progress from this weekend. I’m pretty happy with what I achieved, since my weekend wasn’t as quiet as what I’m used to. I’m very happy to have the owl done, that backstitch took an eternity!
I watched The Fellowship of the Ring, but didn’t go any further. Just wasn’t in an LOTR mood. So I pulled out both versions of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (movie and BBC serial) watched them.

MY SAT and an important note!
Posted by Lady Periphaeria on November 18, 2007
Well, as I only have stitched this in Friday and half of Saturday I would say that my SAT achievement was rather good, it could have been better, but I got possessed by this odd thought of doing housework
… (Not that I have done it that much.
) Anyway, I got about half of Winter stitched:
And the IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL of you
I just want to remind you that we here at Stitch-A-Thons respect copyrights in every sense and when I have reason to suspect a copyright infringement I will send a friendly warning to the user(s) affected.
If such behaviour continues, spite of the warning(s) the infringer will be removed from this blog.
Remember that sharing is not caring in matter of designs, it is stealing from the designer and the store who both lose income when ever such thing happens.
Please help us to keep the industry alive (and read the updated Read Me! (I assume that you have and will read it, thank you)). The designers and show owners thank you.

Huge happy dance!
Posted by vipsu2000 on November 18, 2007
Despite of the missing charts and migrane I managed to finish my Flip-it bits by Lizzie Kate. =) I had to clean the house too on Saturday so who knows what I would have stitched if I would have got whole weekend for myself? But here it is…. (click the picture so you can see the whole thing properly)
Thank you Iris *waving* =)!

Friday’s Effort
Posted by chiasmata on November 16, 2007
Didn’t get too much done last night. Mum’s boyfriend just had a hip replacement, and my idiot brother brought his even idioter girlfriend ’round, so I spent most of the night destressing mum and making sure brother and attachment didn’t set fire to themselves or something. But it’s quite today, and after a bit of domestic pottering I’m going to pull out my Lord of the Rings extended special edition box set and settle down to a good bout of stitching.

More Colourful Cat
Posted by Stargazer on November 16, 2007
I’m aiming to get this design finished. I’m not sure if I will as I am on antibiotics and painkillers for a manky toothache. I saw the dentist today and it seems the work he did on Tuesday has affected the nerves all along my jawline. So, I need to concentrate on my stitching to try and forget the pain!
As you can see, I’ve done quite a bit since last SAT weekend. This is supposed to be one of my son’s Christmas presents so I need to get a move on with it.
Good luck with your targets, everyone!

Hi all
For my first SAT session I have decided to work on Mirabilia’s November’s Topaz Fairy
I forgot to take a photo earlier so fabric colour is a bit off.

Starting Point
Posted by chiasmata on November 16, 2007
Well, it’s half five Friday afternoon, I’m home early from work and ready to start stitching! My fabby is currently hanging on the line though.
I didn’t realise til I piced it up just then how dirty the bottom half had gotten.
Anyway, it won’t take long to dry in today’s heat. So here’s the starting point for this weekend:
I plan to finish off the goat in the bottom right corner and the bottom of the polar bear,
then over and start the bottom left page, completing the snow owl and arctic fox. Wish me luck.
Hopefully I’ll post an update pic after tonight’s stitching.

Me too!
Posted by Lady Periphaeria on November 15, 2007
I will be participating, but I decided to give Loy a break and start Winter Dragon (the same dragon Leslie was working on
) to the Seasonal Dragons Round Robin I am participating as the deadline is 1st of December.
I don’t place any specific goals as I am recovering (or rather trying to recover) from a nasty cold (or as the GP said it: Idiopathic Acute Upper Respiratory Infection), but, of course, more is better and it would be great if I could finish the dragon within the SAT.

Decisions
Posted by blondelibrarian on November 15, 2007
I will be participating! The question is… should I work on “Above the Clouds” again or should I work on a belated birthday exchange for a certain Lady?

I’ll take my words back
Posted by vipsu2000 on November 15, 2007
I can’t work with the Flip-it bits whole weekend like I intended. I thought I have all charts already but I don’t have the November and December. So I try to stitch the August, September and October and then I think I stitch the Margaret Sherry’s calendar cats.

I’ll be here
Posted by chiasmata on November 15, 2007
Wow, it’s gonna be a small group of stitchers this month. You can tell the silly season is almost upon us!
This month I don’t have any specific goals. I plan to stitch as much as I can on a current WIP Northern Dignity. I’m currently at about 50% done, so if I can finish the page I’m on and make a nice dent on the next page that would be nice.
