“Smitten” Ewe Finished

I tried stitching in the car driving back to Nevada, but ended up frogging most of it, so just waited until I was back in my comfy stitching chair to finish it up. I now have three of these sheep finished, Autumn Ewe, “Betty Boo” Ewe, and “Smitten” Ewe. And three more sheep kits, Summer Ewe, Lucky Ewe, and Free Betsy. There are also Winter Ewe, Spring Ewe (with baseball charm), Gertie Gooble, Holiday Cheer, and Ewe Hunt (Easter themed). I’ll probably stitch Summer next because of the cute lobster.

SAT epilogue
Posted by Lady Periphaeria on January 21, 2008
I didn’t quite make my goal of 2 tiles + 90% of the third tile, but I stitched remaining 90% of the first tile…
…and about 90% of the second tile:
Only slice pictures as these are both unpublished models and the other is an exchange item on top of it, so secrets have to be kept.

Virpi’s achievements

I did finish all x-stitches and did a little bit of backstitching too. Maybe you are able to notice how big difference there is after the backstitches are added.

New Start
Posted by blondelibrarian on January 19, 2008
As part of my Guilt-Free January, this month I will start something new during our SAT weekend.
The design is called “Harvest Witch,” by Stoney Creek and I am stitching it on 32 ct Tangerine Sparkle from Silkweaver.
While I was visiting, Dawn and I decided to do a stitch along this year and “Harvest Witch” is the first pattern we chose. “Harvest Witch” will be our Sunday project, so I imagine that for the next few months she will show up on a regular basis during SAT weekends.

Leslie’s January Goals
Posted by ralphy36 on January 19, 2008
Yeah, it looks like I will actually be able to participate a little this month:) Nathaniel is starting to go to bed at a pretty consistent time at night so I can catch a little stitching time each day. For this weekend I would like to complete one more motif on Alchemical Romance and work some on Nathaniel’s Baby Garden. Hopefully I can get at least one more band completed.

Beastitcher’s goal
Posted by beastitcher on January 18, 2008
Hi everyone!
I didn’t partcipate in a SAT since some time ago because of personal issues.
So, this weekend I will be participating with one wip that I would like to finish as earlier as possible.
I would like to advance in Floral Still and I think I can finish 2 rows of the current page.
Have a happy stitching!!

Virpi’s goal for the weekend
Posted by vipsu2000 on January 18, 2008
I try to finish the x-stitches for the Cut thru’ pirateship. I have at least 6 colours to stitch before I can start the backstitching. And believe me this project has plenty of backstitching!
This is where I am now.

SAT plans
Posted by berkanafairy on January 17, 2008
I have some new plans started for this year so I’m hoping to get at least a couple of them done on the SAT weekends. This weekend I shall pull out an old WIP of TW’s Lady of Shallot though. One of the chat boards I visit is having a TW SAL this weekend, so it means I can participate in both with the one piece. I’ll post a pic a bit later so you can see what she looks like so far.

Outi’s goal
Posted by Lady Periphaeria on January 17, 2008
As I am in the mood of model stitching I think it’s better if I do it and let Loy be, again, as I am anyway trying to have a design launch with all the designs I planned for it… So, this also means that I can’t show pictures of completed pieces, but I promise to post some teasers.
The goal is: to finish the piece I am working on now (it’s about 15% done) and at least two other tiles (i.e. one full biscornu – I always stitch the tiles twice for them) during this SAT.

Ohmigosh, I almost forgot! ![]()
I hope to see many of you around stitching like mad and showing us all those beautiful pictures!
Let the stitching fun begin – tomorrow!
(In case you wonder, WordPress seems to have some server issues so posting may be a bit difficult.)

No SAT for me…
Posted by chiasmata on January 16, 2008
I won’t be able to participate that much in this weekend’s stitchathon, as I’m moving interstate! But I hope everyone else has a great stitchy weekend, and I’m looking forward to
seeing your progress pics.
