A very late post

I was away last weekend when the SAT was happening so didn’t have an opportunity to stitch on the project that I wanted to. Luckily, I had something small with me though, so I was able to do some diligent stitching on that. I managed to finish one of two ornaments in a package from Textile Heritage. Just the stitching of the other and the finishing up to do and I’ll be all done! All in all, not a bad start to my first SAT.

I’m sorry in being late with the postings, but I did have a wonderful weekend, stitching and all!

I got the envelope ready and it’s on it’s way to a new home I’m sorry I can’t give but a hint of what’s done, but I’ll post a full picture once the ma is home

SAT results

Double oops for me! First I completely forgot about posting my SAT results, but better late than never.

I also had a really, really busy weekend. I got home very late Friday night, but I still wanted
to start SATing. I didn’t have the energy to dig up Northern Dignity out of my WIP folder, so I grabbed what was sitting in Qsnaps in my lap frame and just started stitching! A bit more love squeezed in Saturday morning and Sunday evening (and a little last night) and I have a finish on my hands!

SAT achievement

I’m happy with my progress though I thought I could finish the blue parts yesterday evening. But I was so tired that I almost fell asleep and I can’t really remember the end of the TV show I was watching!

Note and The SAT epilogue

As I have recently been contacted through comments by two stitchers who would like to join I would like to remind that the Stitch-A-Thon? post contains full information regarding the issue. I have also contacted both of you, but never received a reply and therefore I can’t add you (I have no info for it).

Anyway… I didn’t manage my goal as I had a nasty migraine Friday/ Saturday and I spent half of the Sunday chatting with a dear friend and the other half nodding, but at least I got something done.

 

The ornament is actually completely stitched, but just in case…

February SAT

I plan to work on Chatelaine Mystery X this week-end. I recently started with part 10 and my only goal is to make visible progress on it.

My goals for this weekend are;

1. getting a ma ready, about a third of the stitching done.
2. continuing one of my wip’s called “AprilMai sampler”

I won’t have time to stitch today, but sat and sun will be stitching all day!

Two Goals for Feb

I have two SAT goals for this month. For the first part of the weekend (and the majority of my SAT time) I will work on “Above the Clouds.” (I am so close to a happy dance on this one I can almost taste it!) Then on Sunday I will switch over to “Harvest Witch” as it is my regular SAL day on her.

February SAT

My first SAT of the year! I was in the middle of moving interstate last month, but now I’m all settled in and ready to stitch.

This time around I think I’ll give some love to Northern Dignity again, like in did back in November. It hasn’t seen much love since then, so getting some progress would be nice. Here is it at the moment, at just over 75%.

Horrible photo, but it’s too big to fit in my scanner! I should finally go and buy myself an iron today, in case I have a happy dance!

My goal is…

… I am exhausted to put it mildly (published some models today), so I think that I go with small goal:

1. Stitch as much of the second tile of “Heartfelt” as possible (I don’t have too much of the floss left so I stitch as much there is floss to stitch with) and finish it. The first tile is stitched and looks like this:

As it is a model, even though a complimentary design, I want to get it done.

2. Stitch and finish a belated Christmas ornament for a friend who hasn’t got hers in an exchange she participated to.

I think that’s enough for my weekend.
