I didn’t stitch much but still I managed to finish this project. I did only the brown areas and backstitches.

As I foresaw I ended up sleeping most of the weekend so only thing achieved was that I finished stitching the biscornu – which was 3/4 done anyway.
Better some than none and noticing how much I haven’t been stitching (
) lately it was quite a lot.
Hopefully we, me and my mojo, are in better shape next month.

Yes, I finished Raise the Roof’s Warm Water Wash, though I needed a bit on time on Monday to stitch on all the buttons. More information at my blog.

I’ve made good progress so far this SAT. I didn’t get a before pic because for some reason my scanner doesn’t really capture the fluro orange thread I use for gridding (and frankly I don’t blame it! It’s ugly stuff, but very visible). But I started with my fabric 25% gridded. It’s now 100% gridded and I’ve stitched five hours of the project itself.

I’m very happy with what I’ve achieved and might move on to another project for the rest of the SAT.
I hope everyone else is having a good weekend!

Hi,
I just realized I haven’t even posted photos of my March SAT achievements, life has been so hectic… Anyway, this weekend is also a SAL weekend for me, I stitch Christmas ornaments with Stephanie. So my goals are: 1. to stitch and finish one Christmas ornament and 2. continue stitching Periphaeria’s Spanish Mystery Sampler
I started it last month and I just love stitching it
I should have lots of stitching time this weekend and I’ll try to remember to post a photo of my progress after the weekend! Have a happy weekend everyone!

I’ve signed up for the next UFO RR at Worldwide Round Robins, which is great. There’s one problem though… I don’t have any UFOs! So this stitchathon I’m going to start one.
I’ll be starting Cheetah and Cubs, a Jayne Netley Mayhew kit Kathryn was generous enough to send me. It’s perfect to be a travelling project as all the threads are there and the chart is beautifully easy to read. I also like the idea that the kit has already travelled from the USA to Australia and is now jetting off around the world again – it’s already travelled far further in its lifetime than I have!
So this weekend my aim is to finish gridding up the fabric (a lovely Silkweaver do, not the kit’s aida) and stitch 10 hours of the design itself. I have zero plans for this weekend, plus season 1 of torchwood on DVD, so I should be able to get some nice stitching time done.

I’m afraid that I’m not able to stitch much this weekend. I try to work the piece that I usually have with me in the car.

I hope you all got the newsletter.
Well, as I haven’t been well and will continue being not well for a while I keep my goals small (as I may end up sleeping the whole weekend):
I know, this probably means no pictures.
But I can show you a floss + fabric toss of the biscornu:
