Well, I thought I had made a realistic goal this weekend and had high hopes of exceeding it, but I guess there was more meandering grass than I realized. Here’s my progress:

Productive weekend!
Posted by Stargazer on January 19, 2009
We have been very busy little bees this weekend. I’m so pleased to have two happy dances – I started and finished both projects I aimed to do.
The coffee picture will hopefully end up as a wallhanging or picture and the toucan is for a card.

Ryan has been busy too, he designed and stitched these:

He didn’t quite manage to finish the second one but then again, knowing the attention span of the average 13 year old boy, I think he did pretty well. These will be made up into thank you cards for a couple of our friends who’ve been really kind to us recently.
Thanks for having us along this month. Can’t wait until next month now – what to stitch?

Bit late again!
Posted by Stargazer on January 17, 2009
Seems I’ve been really bad about updating here so I’ll try to do better this year! The last couple of months I haven’t got around to posting post-weekend photos but I got the projects finished and they’re on my blog (Stargazer’s Haven) if you want to go ad have a look.
For this month I am having a new start. I am working on a Coffee picture for my sister’s boyfriend (who I finally met last weekend – they’ve only been seeing each other for 18 months!) and also a card if I get a chance. My son wants to use the computer and my chart is on here so I may have to start a card for him using a magazine chart – if I can find it that is! Organised? Not me!
My son is also joining us on this SAT weekend (not registered with you yet Lady P, sorry!) and he’s working on some little cards that he’s designed himself. If it’s okay with you Lady P, could I post his progress along with mine for this month please? And then we’ll sort out getting him to join properly since he’s caught the stitching bug again. He’s just found out how relaxing (and frustrating) it can be.
So, our goals this month are to get as much of the projects done as we can by tomorrow night. Hope everyone manages to meet their goals this month. Happy stitching!

January Goals
Posted by mcsewing on January 16, 2009
My Goal for January was to finish page 2 of the dragon which I thought would be a stretsh and here it is half way through the month and I’m almost there! I would like to finish this weekend, but more realistically, I think I can get to the last colr on the grass which will just be fill-in. Here it is now: (yes, page 2 is smaller than page 1 was. Clicking on the picture will take you to my blog where I have Decembers WIP pic over-laid on the original tapestry if you want to get an idea of what the finished product will look like)
