Better late than never!

Hi folks,

Sorry it’s taken me a while to get around to posting my progress.  I just don’t know where the time goes sometimes.  Hard to believe it’s Wednesday (two minutes to Thursday as I write this!) already!

Anyway, I made some good progress over the weekend.  I got done a whole lot more than I was expecting to, considering I kept getting interrupted.  So this is where I’m at now:

I’m pleased with it so far, it’s definitely nice and bright!  But I’m putting it away until next SAT weekend now as I have some obs stitching to do in the meantime.

Thanks Crystal for reminding me to come along and join in.  I’ve marked all SAT weekends on my calendar until the end of the year, at least, so I’ll be here next month to see who else joins in!

I really appreciate ya’ll showing up!   Mr. Mojo kept getting up and leaving this weekend even though I had a brand new project (in silks) to work on. However, knowing y’all were here kept me coming back to it instead of laying in bed and sulking like I felt like.   My big dragon didn’t get touched and my stocking didn’t get enough to speak of, but my new dragon made some pretty good progress.  The use of variegated silks makes this a very fast and fun stitch:

I knew it was a bit much to ask to finish this in only a couple of days, but I did make quite a bit of progress. I went from 25 unfinished squares to 12. I also stitched another quarter of the border on the left side and the bottom. I still have all the right side and some on the top to do.

Hi all,

I’m definitely joining in this month.  I need to do some stitching to try and get my mojo back on track.  I’m so behind with everything but having gone through all the projects I should be working on, I’ve chosen one which I’m doing for Ryan.  It’s Durene Jones’ Happy Cat Trio from issue 93 (Jan. 2005) of The World of Cross Stitching.  Here’s my progress so far, bearing in mind I started this months ago:

No goals as such, just want to get as much stitched as possible during the weekend.  Hope we’re not the only two Crystal! lol  Good luck with your goals, they’re looking good!

I’m Back :)

I sent out a few reminder invitations, so I hope I won’t be the only one.  (Stargazer said she’d be here)  Anyway, I hope to get a little done on my dragon, but we may be traveling all weekend, so I’ll probably spend most of my time on my stocking.  Unless of course, my new project gets in, and then, well, PLANS change :lol  Here are my before pics:
