I’m glad to see all the progress everyone made this month! I have hardly had a chance to touch my stitching or the computer this month. Hopefully next month will be better.

I didn’t finish this, but I made good progress. I should be able to finish it by the end of the month. I’m especially happy about my progress since this has been a UFO for years.

February Results

Even though I was only home for part of this month’s Stitch-A-Thon weekend, I did manage to get a fair amount of stitching done and accomplished both my goals.
On Friday night I worked on “Four Seasons Cats – Fall.” The square is now about 40% complete.
Today (Sunday) I beaded some more on Flo. I have now finished the beading of her wings and have moved on to her scepter. I actually think that I am probably a little over half finished with the beading now. I decided not to take a progress pic of the beading tonight though because I am going to try and get one tomorrow when it is still daylight and see if I can’t get a better shot of all the bling!

I’m finally back online with a decent broadband connection after months of unpredictability so will be joining in this weekend for the first time in ages! I haven’t decided what to work on yet though, either Mosey ‘n’ Me afghan or Michael Powell. Or maybe something else. Hmmm.

Bead A Thon

This weekend I plan to bead some more on “Fairy Flora.” I have had a really hard time getting a decent picture of the beading I have done so far, but hopefully you get an idea.
If I get tired of beading I will stitch on the “Fall” cat from “Four Seasons Cats.” I started FSC a couple of years ago and it turned into a UFO. I then organized a RR to get it finished, but when it came back to me last week the last square was only about 25% complete. I’d sure hate for it to become a UFO again!

February weekend

This weekend I’m possibly going to be working on a couple of projects. I’m ashamed to say that I have photos of both of them but have been to tardy to upload them to my photobucket account. I’ll be working on Happy Cats by Durene Jones, this was featured in one of the UK cross stitch magazines a couple of years ago. I’m also hoping to put some time in on TW’s Noah’s Ark. Both are lovely projects to stitch and I promise I’ll have photos after the weekend. Looking forward to taking part again this month. Hope everyone meets their goals. Have fun stitching the weekend away! 😀

February Stitch-A-Thon

This is a kit from Rouge du Rhin that I started in 2000 and left as a UFO. This is year is the year I finish as many UFOs as I can, so this one is on deck. I don’t promise to finish this during the weekend, but I will make what progress I can. Stitching the bright, shiny tinsel is a bit of a pain.
